If you're using UHUD in a currently working setup, there's no reason to make the change, but for anyone modding a new installation, UIO is the way to go. UIO is a worthy successor to UHUD even Gopher realizes that, having made One HUD require UIO instead of UHUD. Lastly, UIO doesn't actually modify any of the menu files you have, it does whatever it needs to do when the files are loaded into memory, leaving the original files untouched. Hope this helps, message me if this doesn't work/need help. If all else fails, delete F:NV and reinstall or use steam to 'check game file integrity' to restore it to un-modded status. These effects kick in shortly before the first penalties occur, so the player is given a chance to eat, drink or sleep in time. Mods can be installed and uninstalled as you please, without having to go through the additional step of deactivating and reactivating UHUD. It doesn't rely on an external script that must be manually executed every time you decide to change something, instead it handles everything automatically when the game is launched. This is a Steam Controller profile for using a DualShock 4 controller in New Vegas, with native and logical controls for Project Nevada 's Sprint, Bullet Time, Grenades, Stealth Field, Enhanced Vision, and Scope Zoom. There's also the issue of scripted installers sometimes failing (which has never been an issue of mine) and UHUD not working with Mod Organizer (which is also not an issue for me.)
